What am I reading?

Field of Swords by Conn Iggulden
I love this series. It should be made into a series of films like LotR. Beats Gladiator.
The plot is based (loosely at times) upon the life of Julius Caesar. This means lots of great battles, punch-ups, politics and other human dramas. Granted the dialog can be a little embarassing at times but the pace is superbly controled and the battle scenes worth reading slowly.

Of course, being female she may have simply got lost.
